Caprese Cake

This is my favorite dessert… I love it.
There are various interpretations but not always happy success, and, forgive me the little modesty, this recipe is perfect.
Very easy to prepare requires a special cooking otherwise it will become a simple chocolate dessert.
We are careful to bake!


  • 300 gr. Chopped almonds
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 200 Gr. Icing sugar
  • 200 Gr. Butter
  • 5 whole eggs
  • 300 gr. Dark chocolate
  • 1 Pinch of salt
  • 0.5 gr vanillin


  • Oven
  • Baking tray
  • Baking paper
  • Bowl
  • Electric Whisker
  • Big pot and small pot
  • Knife


We prepare the baking sheet following the instructions explained in the technical section, adding on the bottom a sheet, of the same diameter, of baking paper.
Put the chocolate and the butter in the small pot and, after putting it over the big pot full half of water, bring it on the fire to melt the whole.
Meanwhile put the whole eggs in the bowl and add the sugar, working the whole with the electric whisker until it becomes foamy and increases in volume.
Turn on the oven at 160 ^ and let it heat up.
Melted the chocolate uniamolo (even still warm) to the eggs, adding also the other ingredients (almonds, flour, salt, vanilla).
We keep working everything with the whisker.
Now pour our dough into the pan and we supply.
We cook for no more than 45 minutes (unfortunately cooking is always connected to the power of the oven that we go to use).
Remember to always do the test of toothpick (put it in the center, if it comes out clean the dessert is cooked, otherwise we continue to cook).
The important thing is to be careful about cooking, otherwise we made a doughnut (even without a central hole).
